Background:
Mr Anil Gambhir qualified from the University of Manchester in 1991. He is the Clinical Director for Orthopaedics and Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust. He undertook his specialist training in the North West of England.
He has a strong academic background and has been awarded an academic fellowship by the University of Manchester and travelling fellowships by the British Orthopaedic Association to Europe and North America. He has recently been awarded the British Hip Society travelling fellowship to the United States.
